Frayed Day 291

Oh, this weather... one of these storms these days was moving heavy garden chairs, plucking satellite dishes of the roofs, rearranging the bins... the usual. Hopefully it stays this "mild". Last year even a facade on one of the block of flats in Kilyos was ripped off...

Storm has passed Day 290

Not exactly postcard perfect, the beach is so littered, full of flotsam and jetsam. What I liked is the burst of rays illuminating the sand. Oh, and have I mentioned I love clouds?? ;-P

I was despairing in my search of a daily photo. A bit of luck helps sometimes LOL.

Fickle fortune Day 288

I walked on the beach, which is rather long. Got to the point where these footsteps and footprints collided and I thought great, I'll take two pics one for left shoe right foot and vice versa - only to watch the sudden loooooooong wave wash the second pair away. So I was fortunate to find these and unfortunate enough to miss the 2nd shot. Also, since these were made by two different people, this could demonstrate how fickle the fortune is ;-P

A cup of tea on the Bosphorus Day 287

Went out for a walk, brought the camera then promptly sat down, ordered tea and chatted away... Well, that comes out of having a daytime date with my hubby who's very often MIA ;-D So I decided to do my version of the coffee pic from day 217 (he's a coffee person, I'm a tea fan), just to get POD out of the way ;-P

Streets are alive with laughter and joy sometimes Day 286

DPS365 street photography

One slice of reality of Istanbul. Common and mostly out of sight. This really does not work in colours, the clothes people wear become to much of a distraction. To give you an idea how this looks like I pasted the before shot in colour below.

The goal is always within reach no matter how far flung it might seem Day 285
