My 2nd year into 365 photo project (simply put - a photo a day project) to learn, to spark my creativity, to document my beautiful surroundings... at the moment that means Istanbul, Turkey. It will be a magical journey for me and I hope you'll enjoy it as well!

When the east wind blows up Helford river the shining waters become troubled and disturbed... Day 113
I took the title from the 1st chapter of the Daphne du Maurier's Frenchman's creek. Here the wind is blowing in the opposite direction of the flow of the water causing the stripe like waves. I spent the whole day in front of my screen, working and was grateful that this quick snap presented itself :-) SOOC

Mi atrraggono le cose insolite Day 109
I get attracted by unusualities. Forgive the overcooked sepia, I chose it because it makes the best of the highlights on the washing machine. The trolley, by the way, is the type used in Istanbul for anything. Selling fresh orange-pommengranate juice, selling milk, selling veggies, transporting tools, serving as workshop-in-the-open or transporting stuff.
Uploading this with a delay of 3 days, I can also tell you that the washing machine is now gone, on day 112 there was a very nonphotogenic Vespa parked there. Just few hours ago I was reading about the necessity of grabbing the shot when you can. I thought the light was too harsh for this shot but hey, at least I have it. This is one of the pics I took to have as a memory since I'll have to move away one day.

Tulip invasion Day 107
Tulip festival opened in Istanbul which means tulips and other spring flowers were planted everywhere. Wonderful!!
Tulips will also invade my stream for a couple of days...
I'm only admiring them in nature. I still haven't bought any. And they're my favourites!!
I should. For joy. AND because they'd be easier to photograph =P
